Regional Swaps.

I received lots and lots of amazing swap cards at Regional's so I thought I would share with you some of my favorites.

Louise (my blogger buddy) made this one using the new Circle Scissor Plus and the Butterfly Prints stamp set with the new butterfly punch.

Tereesa made this clever card also using Butterfly Prints.
See how it opens up with a hidden message inside.

Christine has used the Owl Together Now set. So cute.

And this Easel card is from Vanessa, using Butterfly Prints and Pocket Silhouettes.

Have a great day.

Friday Fun.

I had lots of fun at Julie's on Friday night. It was good to just relax and stamp with a great group of ladies. (Hi Margaret & Toni) Julie had prepared fantastic projects for us to make.

First we made these cute Christmas Cards. That ribbon is from the new Summer Mini, isn't it gorgeous!

Then two different gift boxes. Love these.

And then we made this amazing Christmas window shaker card. Really fun to make.

Close up.

Thanks Julie.

Regional Swap Card.

We had such a fantastic time at the Stampin' Up! Regional's last Saturday. I received sooo many amazing swap cards. This is the card I made to swap. I've used the Spotlight on Christmas stamp set. (love it because it coordinates with lots of punches) The technique is dry embossing. I punched out stars onto a scrap of card, then used it as a template to score around with a bone folder on the back side of Whisper White card. Really easy to do and I think it looks great.

Recipe
Stamp Set: Spotlight on Christmas
Card: Kraft, Choc Chip, Riding Hood Red, Whisper White
Ink: Riding Hood Red, Choc Chip, VersaMark
Punches: star, large star, 1" circle, 1 1/4" circle
Accessories: bone folder, ribbon, mat pack & tool, brad

Tree Trimmings.

I think the Tree Trimming stamp set is my most used set from the Spring Mini Catalogue. I love it so much. Here I've used it to make a Christmas tree decoration, inspired from GinnyGinny at Splitcoast Stampers. The center image is from the Baroque Motifs set. There is a lot of cutting out to make one of these but I think the end result is worth it.

This one I turned into a card using the Gold Brushed Metallic card (great for Christmas) and Riding Hood Red and heat embossing in gold. The greeting is from the Punches Three stamp set ( level 1 hostess). I've also used the eyelet boarder punch, scallop oval punch, gold brads and Riding Hood Red ribbon.
Here is the inside.

The colours for this card are Old Olive and Riding Hood Red with Ski Slope DSP.
